Cable Laying Process

Installing electrical cables — whether underwater, underground or overhead – takes a great deal of planning and execution. While each has its own process, it’s important to know that all proper precautions are taken to ensure the cables are installed safely and accurately, and with minimal impact to the surrounding area.

The sea2shore project includes all three installation types, though the majority of which are submarine and underground. To better understand the basics of how these two processes work, we’ve developed the following diagrams.
